Even from the 2x2 meter king-size bed, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the anchorage in the morning. Both hulls have a headroom of 1.9 meters. The cockpit comfortably seats up to 8 people. There are plenty of storage options throughout the boat, including cabinets, shelves, and huge lockers. There is a large double berth in the forepeak with a sleeping area of 2x2 meters. The salon can also be converted into a double berth by lowering the table, with a sleeping area of approximately 1.8 x 1.5 meters. In addition, there is a single berth on the starboard side. A separate toilet/bathroom is located in the starboard hull, while a technical room is located in the port hull. The galley is located midship on the port side.The Catalac's full fiberglass construction makes it a very robust and seaworthy boat. There are no keels that could break off in case of grounding due to the V-shaped underwater area. Everything is very solid and stable, making it very safe. There is a new large stainless steel bow roller with a rocker, a nearly new manual Vetus anchor winch, a new fixed stainless steel railing, all windows have been completely removed, modernized, and resealed, new 60cm opening portholes have been installed in the side windows, a new large porthole has been installed in the bathroom, new locker lids made of bamboo (with new, solid hinges), all bulkheads have been sanded and coated with new paint, a new PortaPotti 565 from Thetford has been installed, and a matching and very stylish hardtop with tinted opening windows is included.The offer also includes a matching harbor trailer on which the Catalac is currently located. It can be easily transported to the harbor with this trailer. The land berth has already been paid in advance until the end of October of this year.There are still some tasks to be completed before the boat can be put back in the water, including filling in the holes in the hull where the old diesel engines' shaft passages were removed, mounting the aluminum motor mount, giving the underwater hull a new coat of antifouling, overhauling/renewing the entire electrical system (which is not much more than lighting in a simply equipped boat), and installing a new ceiling covering in the interior, possibly made of wooden slats or fabric (the old covering is still available as a sample). Please note that the Catalac is from 1974, so those who want it to look really chic should consider repainting it completely.Although it is located on Poel Island, we are connected to the mainland by a causeway and can be easily reached by car.
