The Dragonfly 28 Sport is the performance-oriented version of the Quorning shipyard. It differs from the Touring model with a larger rig featuring a carbon mast and more sail area. This allows the Dragonfly to sail even in very light winds, while others are still motoring. The floats are walkable up to the bow and protected all around by rubber, which is of great value during harbor maneuvers. The offered Dragonfly 28 is one of the very rare models with a retractable bow thruster, making docking between piles in windy conditions and other maneuvers significantly easier. The boat is equipped with Elvström laminate sails for mainsail, roller genoa, and roller Code 0, in addition to a gennaker set with a snuffer. The four Andersen winches represent the consistently high build quality of the Quorning shipyard. All sails, running and standing rigging are available as spare parts in their original packaging. This also applies to trampolines, sprayhood, bimini, and carpets. The package includes the special Harbeck trailer, which allows the boat to be launched and the mast to be stepped. The condition of the gelcoat, paint, and antifouling is almost new, the boat has been rarely sailed and has only covered approximately 3500 nautical miles. It has always been wintered indoors. The electronic equipment includes a VHF radio, Raymarine e7 MFD plotter, two multifunction displays, trisensor for depth, speed through water, and temperature, wind meter, and an ST2000 tiller pilot. A small solar panel with charger is also included. The original anchor with 40m lead line and windlass is manually operated, which works surprisingly easily. The toilet is a manual pump toilet, and the wet room can be closed off with sliding doors to create a salon and bow berth. The boat has a very efficient gas heater, sink, and a two-burner gas stove. Entertainment is provided by the Fusion system with speakers in the cockpit and salon.
For serious buyers, the boat can be test sailed, and post-purchase instruction in a European cruising area is available upon request. The owners have accumulated over 30,000 nautical miles of experience on various types of boats. The boat is currently in the Baltic Sea on tour and can be viewed and sailed at short notice.
