ANNA is a Bavaria Caribic 390, 39 feet long, built in 1990, with a dinghy and motor. She sails well and is essentially fully equipped, but extensive repairs are needed for longer voyages, e.g. crossing the Atlantic. However, if you only want to sail in the Caribbean, minor repairs, rigging inspection, and new wind instruments are required. Hence the low price.
There are several boatyards nearby with haul-out and storage facilities. There is also a good selection of companies with highly qualified workforce at relatively good prices.
The boat is therefore suitable for someone willing to carry out these repairs and understands the implications of the deficiencies.
I have owned ANNA since 2017 and have sailed her in the Caribbean most years since then. The boat is moored in Trinidad, the southernmost island in the Caribbean, where it is safe from hurricanes and receives basic maintenance with hull scraping every other week.
