Shipman 28 for Sale

Shipman 28, hull number 114, produced on Gotland in 1971. A stable and easily handled sailboat just under 9 meters in length, equipped with an inboard Ferryman 12 hp diesel engine, Garmin GPS, and VHF radio. The boat has 4-5 berths, a functional alcohol stove, a pump toilet (no holding tank), a 50-liter water tank bag, and mainsail and genoa from 2021 (valued at 25,000 SEK).

The boat is old and the equipment is used, but everything on board is maintained and functional. I have owned the Shipman since 2018 when I had it in Copenhagen (and lived on it periodically). Sailing was quite new to me at the time, so I appreciated that the Shipman is a stable and easily handled sailboat with a fin keel. It can be sailed single-handed, but the included autopilot serves more as support than a true autopilot. I am selling the boat because I do not have time to sail as much anymore.
