For Sale: Hanse 488 Sailing Dinghy "Jäglitz"

I am selling my Hanse 488 sailing dinghy "Jäglitz" with plenty of space and two lockable storage compartments. The high mast makes this boat ideal for families or beginners.

Type: Hanse 488, Year: 1989. Length 4.88m, Width 1.97m, Sail area 12sqm.

This is a solid, stable, and easy-to-sail boat. Stepping the mast is easy. The hull is in original condition and has not been repainted. The boat has only been used for sailing in the water. It had a dry berth on land and was stored dry in winter (see photos). There are signs of wear due to age but no structural damage. The boat can be launched and sailed as it is. Main sail, jib, rudder, tiller, paddle, sheets, etc. are included.

A special feature of this boat: All cleats for using a spinnaker are present. I have taken the running rigging and spinnaker with me as I bought a similar boat. However, with minimal effort, the "Jäglitz" can also be sailed with a spinnaker.

Currently, the boat is on a road trailer in Rostock. The cover shown in the picture is custom-made from 2020 and can be purchased for €200. The trailer is not part of the offer but may be used for transporting to the buyer if needed.
