Albin Express for Sale

We are selling our 1979 Albin Express - a fun and popular 25-foot (approximately 7.77 meters) sailboat. Due to having a young child, we simply do not have enough time for sailing or to address the necessary repairs.

Note - Damage to be fixed:

There is damage to the deck right in front of the cabin hatch. A surface of about 10x15 cm is soft/spongy due to moisture and needs to be repaired. We do not have the time to fix this and therefore selling it in its current condition.

• Mercury 6 hp outboard engine, serviced in 2024 - included
• Sails from Elvström, according to the previous owner from 2008
• Porta potty and sink (no connected water system)
• No racing profile on keel or rudder - but ready to sail and enjoyable for leisure/holidays

Reinforcements & Improvements:

• The mast step is reinforced and fixed, so there is no risk of the deck under the mast being pushed down. This is a common weak point on the Express that has been addressed here.
• The bottom stocks are also reinforced, providing a sturdier and safer construction in the hull.

The boat is launched and rigged in Viggbyholm, Stockholm, ready to sail home.
