Amazingly well-equipped Targa sailing yacht with 2 forestays. Large genoa + self-tacking jib, plus a vertically battened roller mainsail in a high-quality Bamar rig - making it sail really well even upwind!
To make it go fast through the water, a 3-blade SPW propeller (the best of the best) is installed.
An 80m² gennaker, with all sheets, blocks, etc. makes the Moen complete - no matter which wind direction, whether in light winds or heavily reefed in strong winds (with roller mainsail and self-tacking jib).
The Moen is fully capable of being sailed single-handed and has already been sailed to Heligoland, through the Skagerrak and Kattegat, and even in the Mediterranean.
The powerful Yanmar HM35 has been overhauled with only a few engine hours (documentation available), the underwater part of the saildrive has been renewed, and most importantly, what no one else does - the saildrive cuff has been replaced - most others usually drive around with cuffs over 30 years old.
In addition, all seacocks have been replaced with high-quality ASIS316 stainless steel in elaborate work.
The Moen has received a new, very powerful Webasto, making it possible to sail around Denmark in March with the cockpit closed - in a T-shirt.
In warm weather, the cockpit cover is removed, the Targa roof cover is removed, and the additional newly installed folding window in the fixed glass panorama front is opened.
If it gets even warmer, the cockpit cover can be converted into a shade-providing bimini.
The galley is located on the port side in the deckhouse. On a long journey, it is unbeatable, and at anchor or in port, cooking is done with a sea view and not in the basement.
The salon, bathroom, cabins - including the aft cabins - have a solid wood finish that is rarely found on old Scandinavian yachts. Hallberg-Rassy and especially the modern ones hardly come close.
The ship is being sold with a heavy heart due to enlargement.
