All in all, a very beautiful and safe boat (e.g. capsize screening formula of 1.72) that sails well for its weight and age thanks to the elevated rig and cutter jib that provide good upwind angles. The split lateral plane provides the course stability of a long-keeled boat with the maneuverability of a fin-keeled boat.
