We are pleased to announce that our beautiful Bavaria 47 will soon be available for sale, just like the current real estate market. It is currently located in Karlstad, and we are putting the finishing touches on it to prepare for a great sailing season.
For a reasonable price, you can own a large, elegant, and easy-to-sail 47-foot boat that can accommodate your family and guests. It is an excellent boat for shared ownership and can easily be prepared for long-distance sailing, as it has already proven.
Over the past few fantastic seasons, we, four friends from Värmland, have sailed with our Bavaria 47 - S/Y Sanuk - and our friends in the Caribbean, starting from Grenada. We sailed her back home last summer. She is well-maintained and has undergone a mid-term upgrade, including a new standing rigging, an overhaul of the rudder with new reinforcements and bearing checks, high-quality synthetic teak in the cockpit, and a new replacement engine in the fall of 2022. Most importantly, we have addressed Bavaria's Achilles heel. We lifted the deck and then re-laid it with epoxy. There is no leakage, and it is absolutely rigid. Better than new! The sails are in excellent condition. She sails safely and steadily!
Sanuk is spacious and social, with four separate double cabins and room to sleep in the salon. The large cockpit ensures that everyone sits comfortably outside, and the high-quality bimini provides shade. The mahogany interior in the salon (not laminate) is spacious, with a large galley and navigation table. The boat is equipped with a watermaker, refrigerator, large stove with oven, and washing machine. There are three toilets, one with a large shower. Solar panels. A powerful Zodiac RIB from 2018 (stored on the foredeck during longer sails) with a 4 hp outboard motor.
