Sale of a Robust Sail Furling System
For sale is a robust sail furling system of almost indestructible quality for rolling foresails with stay riders. Suitable for boats from 25 to 31 feet, similar to Bartels or Topreff.
- Comes with stay swivel and top swivel. Bolt-Dn = 10 mm.
- Drum diameter: 150 mm plus bracket. Drum height: 83 mm.
- Sheet guide individually adjustable. This means that by loosening a screw, the bracket can be pivoted and the system can be operated either from starboard using a line or from port.
- The special feature of the drum is that by loosening the six Allen screws, you can access the needle bearing and apply petroleum and new grease (winch grease!) for maintenance.
- The use of brand names is for explanation purposes only. There is no claim or intention to violate protected trademark or pattern rights.
- The shipment consists of three parts. It can also be picked up.
- The inside of the top swivel can only be inspected by grinding away small weld spots on the outside that secure the swivel parts so that the swivel does not undesirably disassemble into its components. Now the special feature of the top swivel: new grease can be injected laterally through a small revision hole with a syringe or slim nozzle!
- The parts rotate sufficiently well and easily, but after several years of use, a fresh portion of grease would be advisable.
- Two 10 mm split pins are new!!
- The German Civil Code applies. Sold as seen. No exchange in case of error. Use and operation are the responsibility of the buyer. The seller disclaims liability. Inspection is possible upon pickup. Otherwise, the photos and description are to be understood as truthful indications.
