Built by one of the polyester pioneers in the Netherlands - Van Der Rest Nautic - the Piewiet is considered a Dutch polyester classic. The 'Katse Kaai' was built by the shipyard owner for himself at the time, which can be seen from the interior that differs slightly from the other Piewiets 1200 built.
