Maxi 77a - Unique and Upgraded

As you can see from the pictures, this Maxi 77a is a very rare find. The boat has been well taken care of and upgraded.

One of the unique features of this Maxi 77a is that the lifelines have been removed. Since this was done, I have never regretted it. It is easier to move around the boat and to get on and off from both the bow and stern when swimming.

The hull's freeboard has been painted gray, which is easier to keep clean and nice than gelcoat. "OBEY" is a sticker that can be removed.

The old, boring rubber-covered plastic sheets that were in the ceiling of the cabin have all been replaced with plywood with teak veneer, which has been oiled with Owatrol.

The wardrobes in the forepeak have been removed to make it more spacious and to allow taller people to sleep there. One of the wardrobes is still available if you want to reinstall it. The storage space is sufficient for multi-day trips.

The bottom is very well taken care of, painted with VC 17m, which is a bottom paint for racing boats. The paint does not build up in thickness each time you paint and stays even and smooth.
