The Swan 54 is a true cruising yacht intended to sail in comfort anywhere in the world. This classic design from Germán Frers brings together the best details of a cruising yacht.
Coco is a superb example delivered in 2018, and her current owners sailed from the Swan factory in Finland to New Zealand, an amazing adventure! The yacht is very well specified including carbon mast and boom, generator, air conditioning, full safety gear for ocean sailing, B&G navigation electronics and all necessary communication equipment.
She has been fully imported into New Zealand and tax paid, offering a very unique experience for AUS and NZ buyers. A must inspect if looking to start an ocean adventure in one of the best boats available on the market today.
The hull topsides are foam cored glass fiber reinforced vinylester construction. Hull bottom is mono- lithic/high density foam for increased impact resistance.
There is space in the lazarette to store a 2.8m inflatable dinghy

Coco has a teak deck with white sikaflex caulking, giving her a modern feel. The deck layout is such that all sheets, halyards etc all lead back to the safe, deep cockpit with electric winches, and the layout is clean and minimalistic incliuding all flush hatches. The large cockpit with great seating (cockpit cushion included), large teak cockpit table, storage and excellent protection via sprayhood (dodger) and bimini. Aft of the twin wheels and seating/ cockpit table is a spacious aft deck that leads to the hydraulically operated opening transom. This is a perfect solution whilst at anchor or on the dock.
The deck hardware package is mostly from Antal and winches are Harken. All stainless-steel rails, stan- chions, padeyes and mooring cleats. Winches are:
The interior of Coco is finished in varnished European Oak timber to the usual high Nautor’s Swan standard.
Coupled with painted, fabric and leather finishes and descrete lighting, the interior is incredibly warm and comfortable. The Swan 54 has two bathrooms, the forward has fully enclosed shower stall and electric FW flush toilets. The owners cabin and one double guest cabin are forwad of the main saloon, and there are two aft cabins. One is a double and one a bunk room with extra storage and washing machine/drier. A safe is fitted in owner’s cabin.
Galley
Adjoining the main saloon, the large galley is aft and to starboard, perfectly laid out for use at sea or rest. The benchtops are Corianand there is plenty of good storage, large sink, gas cooktop and oven, microwave oven and suitable refrigeration and freezer capacity (additional 85L freezer fitted under counter). Coco has a washing machine made by Miele WT2796
The main saloon is light-filled thanks to large deck sky-lights that open and hull windows either side of the comfortable sofas. There is a dinnette to port with seating for up to 8 and a proper navigation station facing forward to starboard.
The engine is a 110hp Yanmar 4JH110 CR with ZF25A gear box with 1,250 Hours The propeller Is a 3- blade folding propeller

Sea Recovery Ultra Whisper 600 24v Watermaker. Capacity of 95l/h
Electical system on Swan 54 is 24v and serviced by house battery bank of 525AH. There is also stand-alone engine start and generator start batteries. Charging is via a 110amp alternator on main engine, generator or Mastevolt Mass 24V 80amp shore power charger. All breakers and monitoring are located in the starboard aft cabin in a dedicated electrical locker and all is designed and installed to highest Nautor Swan quality with exceptinal attention to detail. The 220V system throughout the boat is serviced by a generator, shorepower and 24V/2500va inverter for low wattage equipment use whilst at sea. A 110V inverter has also been fitted. There are 220v and USB outlets throughout the boat.
Marine Air VARC 48 system with 41,000 BTU capacity/ 12kW with reverse cycle heating for all cabin spaces. Additional Hella turbo ventilation fans are fitted throughout Coco
Fischer Panda 10000 PMS 9.4KVA diesel generator (1,080 hrs)
Separate generator room, insulated and fire protected with firefighting system and ventilation
Coco is fitted with a Nautor’s Swan standard B&G Triton 2 navigation instument package with Triton dis- plays in the cockpit and regular inputs such as speed, depth, wind, GPS etc. Other features of the system are:
Ocean passage safety gear including lift raft, jackets, EPIRB etc. Equipment list to be audited and in-ser- vice at time of survey
Carbon fibre mast and V-boom from Selden with Nitronic rod standing rigging. The mast has two aft swept spreaders, 15/16th rig configuration, electric TD400E headsail furler and all running rigging, halyards etc. Harken switch track is fitted to lower the mainsail car stack when the main is lowered for storage or reefing.
Boom is set up for a three-reef mainsail and single-line reefing system, and both mast and boom are finished gloss black.
The boat is fitted with a Lewmar V4 24V windlass with remote, 90m of 10mm chain and 33kg Rocna anchor. Secondary anchor also onboard
