In recent years, the boat has been continuously improved, maintained and modernized. Various invoices are available.

A rough overview of the work provides information about the good maintenance and care condition of the boat:

  1. Vetus replacement engine with only approx. 120 operating hours. The professionally maintained Vetus diesel enables the Old Lady to sail on the Baltic Sea as well as to safely and reliably navigate inland waters. All spare parts for the engine are available from Vetus. The engine runs like clockwork and always starts. It is no wonder that newer Vetus engines have an excellent reputation.
  2. The boat has two sets of sails (jib and mainsail), with the younger set of sails being about 2 years old. The jib even received a UV protection. It runs on a solid roller reefing system from Plastimo.
  3. Everything can be operated from the cockpit. Lazy Jacks were retrofitted. Another highlight of the equipment are very high-quality Andersen winches (unit price 500€ three years ago). Invoices are available.
  4. The entire on-board electrical system was renewed by a professional ship electrician. 12V/230V connections are available on board. Everything can be switched on and off individually. The focus was on clarity, functionality and quality.
  5. All sea valves and hoses have been renewed.
  6. The boat has been permanently maintained inside and out. Teak deck, hull structure, wooden surfaces, are in good condition, although with a ship of this age, there is always some maintenance work to be done somewhere.
  7. The boat has a Dometic compressor cooler and a B&G plotter with current map sets, wind gauge and much more. The plotter can also be used from the cockpit with a smartphone or tablet. This saves the expensive navigation app. Much of what is mentioned here and much more is documented and can be proven by invoices. Part of the history can also be traced from the documents belonging to the boat.

A winter storage stand, winter cover frame, winter cover and various pallets for winter storage are included in the offer. Berth is available if necessary.

Currently, the sword cannot be manually retracted, which currently leads to a maximum draft of 1.60m. This has no negative effects on the sailing behavior and safety. It is also not a problem for winter storage.
