Well-built sailboat that has circumnavigated the globe

This sailboat was designed by Ron Holland and built in 12 copies at Formosa Shipyard in 1980. The previous owner bought the boat in Greenland and renovated the solid teak interior. We had the privilege of buying Pippi from Nuuk in Gothenburg in 2015 and sailed her up to Stockholm where we had our home port on Djurgården until the summer of 2021 when she returned home to the west coast.

It is a comfortable liveaboard with plenty of storage space and several heating systems. We have spent several summer weeks on Gotland and had the opportunity to explore more of Stockholm's archipelago during other sailing trips. During other times, Pippi has been our overnight apartment when working in Stockholm a few days a week, even during winter when the boat has been in the water year-round.

The boat has three cabins and two toilets (electric) as well as a shower both inside and on the swim platform. From the cockpit, you enter directly into the living room. In addition to the galley and dining table with sofa in the saloon, there is also a chart table. From the living room, there is a door to the aft cabin, which also has its own toilet with shower. A small hallway and another door aft take you to the engine room. There is an original Adler/Barbour refrigeration compressor with a refrigerator in the kitchen that works great. A large 80-liter hot water tank is also located in the engine room, where the original Volvo Penta MD 21b (renovated) is located, as well as the heating units.

From the living room and forward, there are two doors that hide two cabins. In front of these cabins, there is another door from each cabin that leads to a toilet with shower. In front of this toilet, there is storage space and room for tools, spare parts, and materials. All cabins, as well as the living room and the forward storage space, have skylights with natural light.

Heater Ebersprächer 1 (air), as well as waterborne elements on electric heater or Ebersprächer 2 (not used for a long time).

Gas stove with oven (2018). Grill for the cockpit. Dishes, cups, glasses, cutlery, etc.

New Furlex 2022, sails in good condition (Lund Sail) and extra sails are available, including a virtually unused spinnaker with a spinnaker boom. The mainsail has Lazy Jacks (Lunds Sail).

The navigation equipment is older (Furuno) as well as radar and simpler autopilot, as well as other instruments (VHF, etc.).

Shore power and modern electrical panel as well as ground fault circuit breaker and fuses. Converted to 220 volts.

Consumption batteries (larger) and starter battery new in 2021/22.

Wind generator and a solar panel are available.

Stereo and speakers in the cockpit.

Volvo Penta MD 21b, 65 hp. The engine is serviced annually.

The boat was last dry-docked in November 2020.

Electric windlass (powerful) in the bow, as well as a smaller anchor in the stern. There is a davit in the stern, but it may need some care. Various ropes and mooring materials. Fenders. Power cable with extension cord. Life raft.

Sprayhood (older) and bimini top are available, as well as various types of boom tents as a roof over the cockpit.

Insured for SEK 800,000. Invested SEK 1 million since 2009.
