Segelyacht Contest 27a Timpete

For sale is our Contest 27a, built in 1975, with which we have enjoyed many vacations and sailing trips. It is a family-friendly boat for 4 people with plenty of storage space. The Timpete is a well-behaved cruising ship, suitable for shallower Baltic Sea ports due to its draft of 1.35m. The long cabin structure provides standing height almost up to the bow berth.

The sail inventory consists of a mainsail with one reef, Genoa 1, Genoa 2, and jib. The engine is a Volvo Penta MD 1B with 10 hp, shaft drive, and two-blade fixed propeller. The pump toilet was renewed in 2020. The sprayhood was renewed in 2017. The standing rigging was replaced except for the forestay in 2015/2016. The underwater hull was rebuilt with epoxy coating and primer in 2015.
