The MARCON SABRE 27 underwent an extensive refit both inside and out during the winter, including a rig check by a professional (all wire shrouds and stays are 1mm thicker than required) and replacement of the Rod-Stag for the Reckmann roller furling system. It also features a double radar reflector, forestay winch, bow board, and rubbing strake made of Khaya Mahogany, as well as additional winches on the mast. A traditional brass boat hook and extended strap for rigging are included. The hull was painted in 2021, including the waterline, and the antifouling was renewed in 11.22 and 23. The yacht has sailed approximately 1200 nautical miles between 20-22. The engine (Italian 2-cylinder Ruggerini 20 hp marine diesel) was overhauled in 2019 and has a left-turning fixed propeller. The carpets and upholstery are completely new, with plenty of wood and brass inside. The fresh water tank and pump system are new, and the toilet has been overhauled and is in excellent condition.
