Due to time constraints and with a heavy heart, I am parting with my Varianta 65 "Flügge" (built in 1975, sail number 2347) after approximately 7 years of ownership. The boat has been moored at a sailing club in Spandau on the Unterhavel since last summer (previously in the Baltic Sea). The mooring spot, including winter storage, can be taken over as part of a club membership, subject to consultation.The Varianta 65 is a small cruiser measuring 6.50m in length, 2.10m in width, and weighing 760kg. It was designed as a keelboat, with a very shallow draft of 1.30m with the keel down and 0.70m with the keel up. This makes the Varianta 65 ideal for outings on the Havel and other inland waters. It is also suitable for multi-day trips, with 4 berths available. The boat is easy to launch, so no crane is necessary.The boat is generally in good, age-appropriate condition and can be sailed immediately without any necessary repairs. The sail equipment is complete, without any tears or holes, and is in good condition (new mainsail!). The mechanics of the mainsail and the roller furling system for the foresail work perfectly. All sheets, boom vangs, and the continuous line have been renewed. The windows have already been replaced by the previous owner, so the interior is completely dry.The underwater hull is in good condition. The keel and daggerboard were completely removed, rusted, and rebuilt in 2019 and 2022, respectively, so only a few small rust spots are visible. The old mast support was already replaced with a stainless steel plate in 2016.
