The Najad 440 is suitable for sailing on the open seas as well as for coastal sailing.The Najad 440 is available in two different versions, AC (aft cockpit) and CC (midship cockpit). This Najad 440 VENTURE is a CC version delivered in 2008. This means that it offers a well-protected cockpit ideal for ocean sailing where all sail handling and navigation equipment is always close at hand. The fixed windshield and sprayhood provide good protection even in bad weather conditions.Internally, the boat offers a large owner's cabin aft with a centered double berth and its own toilet with shower. The guest cabin forward also offers a double berth, its own toilet with shower, and plenty of storage space. A large longitudinal galley is located to port of the companionway and extends aft, and the navigation station is located directly to starboard of the companionway. The salon has a C-shaped sofa to port and two armchairs to starboard. A perfect layout for 2-4 people!The interior is made of selected mahogany with Jatoba floors and white-clad ceiling panels.The Najad 440 VENTURE has been used for family sailing in Scandinavia, mainly in Swedish waters.
