We are again delighted at Boatshed Cornwall to list this Giles Vaton designed Kelt 850 sailing yacht. A fin keel, sugar scoop transom and rudder and skeg ,of which there were about 1,200 of these GRP hulled yachts built.
The Kelt 8.50 has an open layout for her saloon and forward double berths which gives her a bright and roomy feel. Her rear double cabin benefits from a large porthole style window . The heads are large with a vanity unit and storage.
This Kelt was found on her swinging mooring, having used the water taxi, where initial impressions were of a fine clean yacht glistening in the warm summer sun. Once onboard, it soon appeared that whilst much has been recently done to upgrade this yacht there were things left to do.

Overall, It appears that whilst much has been done, there are some finishing touches to do internally to this Kelt 850. Nevertheless, it seems up and ready to sail and from the swinging mooring you should be able to enjoy the Cornish coast, estuaries and rivers.
