When the Najad 511 model was launched in 2003, it was the flagship of Najadvarvet. The boat is designed by Judel & Vrolijk. Najad 511 is a relatively fast cruising boat with a sharp bow, a deep keel with bolted lead ballast, and a skeg hung rudder. Najad 511 is a cruising boat capable of crossing all seas in style and comfort.
Najad 511, NIKE, is a special boat. It was built for its current (first) owners to MCA Category Zero, which includes a high level of safety at sea, such as solid storm covers that can be installed at skylights and portlights, automatic fire extinguisher, properly secured batteries, tinned electrical wiring, storm jib and storm mainsail, and various safety equipment.
Sailing-wise, NIKE comes with an electric furling mast, 2 x electric furlers for headsails, 5 electric winches, hydraulic boom vang and backstay tensioner operated from the cockpit, making sail handling smooth and easy - perfect for a small crew.
The interior includes an owner's aft cabin with its own toilet/shower, a longitudinal galley, navigation table, and a salon with a sofa and two comfortable armchairs. In front of the mast bulkhead, which is laminated to the hull and deck, you will find two guest cabins, one with a V-berth and one with bunk beds, and a toilet with shower.
NIKE has approximately 50,000 Nm under her keel. She has been meticulously maintained from the beginning and has been continuously updated.
This boat is perfect for a couple or a family to sail on the Seven Seas. Built to MCA specification, she can also be prepared for high-level chartering if this is of interest to her new owner.
The boat is located in Orust / west coast.
