I am now selling my Maxi 77 from 1976 due to changed family circumstances. It is a perfect beginner's boat that is easy to maneuver and learn to sail with. I taught myself to sail on a boat like this without any prior knowledge. It has 4-5 berths.
The boat is currently in the water in Västervik where it has a seasonal berth until October 15th. Everything is prepared, so if you make a purchase, you can set off the same day.
The boat is equipped with the original Volvo Penta 7.5 hp engine. The engine was serviced by the yard last winter and works very well. It also comes with an extra Johnson outboard engine of 4.5 hp, which we have not used but have replaced the impeller and gear oil before launching.
The sails included are mainsail, genoa, spinnaker, and jib. The Furlex system was purchased about 5 years ago and is in very good condition. We have replaced the shackles on the mainsail this season.
In addition, everything you need is available except for a life jacket to set sail immediately. Examples include a spirit stove, Wallas heater, keel bolts, various ropes, fenders, 2 anchors, portable toilet, cushions, sprayhood, and cradle for storage.
