Nyrenoverad Vindö 28 "Puella" - For Sale

I have owned and improved the newly renovated Vindö 28 "Puella" from 1964 for 10 years. The boat is in excellent condition with a lot of new equipment, such as a new engine and new sails. In 2022-23, she was completed with a scraped and repainted superstructure, new windows, and a freshly painted deck. The boat is a long-keeled ocean cruiser built in mahogany on oak. Designed by Carl Andersson and built at Nötesunds shipyard, Orust, in 1964.

Dimensions: LOA 8.2m, beam 2.35m, draft 1.35m. Displacement: 3 tons.

This boat attracts compliments and conversations, appreciation, and joy.

Now it is in such good condition that spring maintenance should be completed in 2 weekends. One coat of varnish, bottom paint, and launch. Like having a fiberglass boat!

The deck has been epoxy treated and painted with non-slip paint in 2023.

Equipment:

• Engine: Beta Marin 16, a brand new 2-cylinder 16hp diesel engine with approximately 10 operating hours. It plows through the sea at full speed regardless of weather and waves. The entire driveline and hoses were replaced during the engine replacement in 2019.
• Sails: The mainsail is new from 2014, used for approximately one week per year and in excellent condition. The foresail is a Gransegel genoa on a furler, both sail and furler are from 2019 but never used.
• GPS/Plotter: Garmin GPSmap xs with touchscreen from 2019.
• Autopilot: Raymarine.
• Heater: 2kW diesel heater with hot air controlled by remote control.
• Toilet (without holding tank).
• 50-liter water bag with Jabsco pressure pump, installed in 2019.
• 55-liter fuel tank from 2019.
• Solar panels: Fixed 50W panel and a 50W foldable panel in a bag. Regulator with battery status.
• Refrigerator: Dometic compressor fridge, 22 liters. Low power consumption, approximately 2.5 Ah.
• Batteries: Two 80Ah leisure batteries, with a new battery separator from Skyltermarks in 2023. One battery from 2023, the other in new condition from 2022.
• All 50mm2 cables for the engine were replaced in 2019.
• Mattresses: New comfortable mattresses for the forepeak, cut to the right shape but not upholstered. Also includes the mattresses in the picture. The wide Pullman berths in the salon are cut but not upholstered. The forepeak can accommodate 2 adults and the salon can accommodate 2 adults.
• Bilge pump: High-capacity model that can pump approximately 10,000 liters per hour, with a level switch that can handle oil, diesel, etc.
• All halyards and electrical wiring in the mast were replaced in 2020.
• USB and 12V outlets in the forepeak.
• 2-burner gas stove.
• Includes unmounted lifelines.
• Stainless steel Bruce anchor and 50m anchor line on a roller, as well as an extra anchor.
• New lines from 2020.
• Keel painted in 2023.

The boat is sold complete with plates, toolbox, lines, and miscellaneous items.

The insurance value is 150,000 SEK. I am asking for 120,000 SEK, which I believe is a reasonable and fair price, although it represents a significant loss for me. I know there are cheaper boats, but they are not comparable in condition and level of equipment. Please do not discuss the price without seeing the boat.

There is also a corresponding mooring for sale. The boat is currently located at Karlslunds Marina in Dalarö, Sweden. The mooring is size 8B and is priced at approximately 80,000 SEK.
