Boat for Sale

For sale is a Bavaria 707, built in 1979, first launched in 1980, with "Berliner Kiel" and trailer.

Specifications:

• Length: 7.07 m
• Width: 2.50 m
• Draft: 0.90 m

The boat was purchased by me in 2019 in Rostock as a project and has been extensively rebuilt. Some work, especially inside, still needs to be done. I am selling it now due to lack of time.

Good sailing characteristics. Tested in the Baltic Sea.

Equipment:

• 8 HP inboard engine Volvo Penta MB2/50S (4-stroke gasoline), overhauled in 2023
• Includes 1 ½ spare engines and various spare parts
• Mercury Sailpower 5 HP outboard engine, built in 2015
• New fuel tank for inboard engine (30l plastic)
• Trailer with anti-sway coupling, tires from 2022, new inspection
• New sails: roller furling genoa and mainsail from 2022
• Upholstery renewed in 2021 (not shown in the pictures)
• Tiller renewed in 2021
• New stainless steel tiller fitting
• New charger
• New battery (75 Ah)
• Backstay tensioner retrofitted
• Some running rigging replaced
• Standing rigging still original
• New instruments NASA Target: log, depth sounder, wind (not connected)

• New interior lining (walls in beige automotive felt / ceiling panels in Okoume) - work is not yet fully completed

Test sailing in Potsdam is possible until October, after that the boat will be on the trailer.

The mooring cannot be taken over.
