The second in the new range when ALUBAT began building their offshore alloy yachts, the OVNI 31's were built exceedingly strong. This pretty yacht not only has the strength of over built alloy hull and decks, she is also a fully equipped and self sufficient globe trotter. Her owner has rewired the whole boat, has a great battery / inverter set up and equipped her with the modern essentials such as IRIDIUM GO, chartplotter, AIS etc. She has just completed an Indian Ocean round trip, so all safety equipment is up to date.
The interior is a nice set up, mahogany joinery and cork deckheads, and a good second double berth sited in main saloon. This yacht will so suit a singlehander or couple who seek far flung destinations.

One manual JABSCO head. There is a sink and foot pumped fresh water. For showers, owner uses pressurized water from galley and showers in cockpit.
The Yanmar engine was completely rebuilt in 2019. The 2MG20 was often direct sea water cooled but this one had the fresh water heat exchanger added. The hours since rebuild are only 1600 and is perfectly reliable.

The SELDEN rig and standing rigging was ex factory in the year 2000, has only been used for eight years. Double head stays, a HARKEN furling genoa and the inner stay takes a jib and storm jib on hanks. LED anchor light, steaming light and deck flood. Full height mast steps.
The boat comes with all equipment manuals and many essential cruising spares and tools... shackles, pulleys, nuts, bolts, sewing and splicing gear.
There are over 150 paper charts plus a few cruising guides, Jimmy Cornell etc.
