Year: 2003

Two-cabin version with spacious owner's cabin in the front and plenty of storage space. Aft cabin with double bed. Large bathroom with toilet and shower on the starboard side. Ample storage in the cockpit.

The sofas in the salon can be converted into comfortable beds or sea berths.

ENO gas stove with two burners and oven. The refrigerator has been upgraded with an Isotherm ASU cooling unit. There is good headroom throughout the boat, suitable for someone who is 1.86m tall.

Shower on the bathing platform. Hot and cold water available everywhere.

Very good sail wardrobe. UK roller main sail, a few years old and in very good condition. UK roller genoa, also in top condition. Plus a Genacker with sock, also UK and almost new. Sheets, halyards, mooring lines, etc. in good condition.

Upgraded larger genoa winches, Andersen 46ST.

Log, depth sounder, wind instrument, autopilot, chartplotter, VHF, AIS, etc. are all Raymarine and interconnected in Raymarine's SeaTalk NG network. The autopilot is the expensive, high-quality one mounted on the steering pedestal. Other upgrades include:

  • Chartplotter: Raymarine Element, 2022
  • AIS: Raymarine 700, 2023. Transmitting and receiving. Easy to reprogram MMSI.
  • VHF: Ray63 with slave transmitter, 2023.

Also installed is Raymarine's remote control system, allowing you to control the autopilot wirelessly via remote control. You can also view all data in the system, such as wind, depth, speed, etc.

At the stern, there is a 10kg stainless steel Bruce anchor, 2m chain, and anchor line on a roller. At the bow, there is a Lofrans anchor windlass with 60m, 8mm chain. 15kg stainless steel Bruce anchor.

One common issue with these Bavaria boats is the shelf where the anchor windlass is located at the bow. Moisture can penetrate the sandwich construction. This has been fixed on this boat by removing the shelf, drying it out, and resealing it. Instead, a stylish stainless steel shelf has been installed, which performs the job much better.

The boat has the deep keel with a draft of 1.90m. Combined with good sails, it sails impressively well for a Bavaria. We have often sailed at 8 knots for hours on a close reach.

Victron AGM battery 80Ah at the bow, serving the bow thruster and anchor windlass.

The house batteries are 2x170Ah, and there is an 80Ah starting battery. There is a 55w solar panel mounted on the deck in front of the sprayhood. The boat is equipped with shore power and all accessories.

The sprayhood and cockpit cover are in top condition from Kapell och Annat, with stainless steel frames.

Webasto diesel heater with outlets in all cabins, salon, and bathroom.

TV with built-in DVD player. Standard boat stereo with speakers in the salon.

Water tanks: 2x150l

Diesel tank: 150l

Engine: Volvo Penta MD2030. Starts perfectly and runs perfectly. Well-maintained. Approximately 2000 hours. 3-blade folding propeller VP.

Bottom painted this year with VC17.

Included with the boat: Zodiac dinghy with outboard engine (Johnson 3.3), portable VHF with charger, fenders, gas bottles, etc. In short, a very complete boat in VERY good condition. Perfect for family vacations or even long-distance cruising.

Length: 11.70m

Beam: 3.59m
