Westerly Centaur 'B' Layout

Westerly Centaur 1976 with bilge keels and wheel steering, an ideal boat for drying harbours. Bought by the current owner in August 2020 and transported by road from Lancashire to Lyme Regis, Dorset. Kept on hard standing for the remainder of 2020. Surveyed in January 2021, remedial work carried out. Also, hull sand-blasted, primed, undercoated, gel coated and anti fouled March 2021. Yanmar 28 hp inboard diesel serviced June 2021 and has clocked up 30 hours since. Boat lifted into the harbour same month. Lifted out again October 2021 onto hard standing for winter storage. New Rutland wind generator and corresponding electrics fitted March 2022. New rope cutter fitted summer 2022. Lifted out of the water October 2022 and stored on hard standing again. Keels ground down March 2023, hull sanded down, ferton and bitumen paint applied, primed, antifouled and polished, Sails serviceable, running rigging also serviceable but could do with a wash. Standing rigging okay. Deck paint looks better in photos than in real life, could do with rubbing down in places and repainting. This is a good, solid boat, which sails really well, fully equipped and lovingly maintained. Lifted back into the water on 1st April. Comes with everything included, Jabsco sea toilet,  2 ring cooker with grill, basin and tap with mechanical foot pump, 3 adult life jackets and 1 child's life jacket, bought 2021 and all scarcely used, Seago 2.4 dinghy bought 2021 and Lalizas lightweight leisure life raft, also bought 2021, Lofrans mechanical windlass, mechanical and electric bilge pumps, DSC radio, radar, fishfinder, log, chart plotter, boat hooks, 8 fenders bought 2021, 3 sets of keys, 2 Admiralty charts (Exmouth to Christchurch, Falmouth to Teignmouth), Reeds Channel Almanac 2022, Tidal Stream Atlas and various sailing books. Please remember this is a 47 year old vessel, so it's not going to be pristine but it's a great boat, and the current owner is very sad not to be able to continue sailing.
