The Dufour 40 is known as a well-built boat and a good sailor, as demonstrated by its many top placements in regattas. At the same time, the Dufour 40 Performance is an incredibly good family boat. A boat where the whole family will enjoy.
Below deck, Dufour has utilized the boat's spaces optimally. In the center of the boat, there is a lovely salon. Plenty of space for the whole family and friends. Good storage in shelves and cabinets. To port, there is a well-equipped pantry. Ample storage, double sinks, stove with oven, and a large refrigerator. To starboard, there is a navigation table, electrical panel, and toilets.
Aft in the boat, there are two nice aft cabins. Good storage in wardrobe and shelves. In the forward cabin, there is a very practical berth placed to starboard. Just sit on the edge and lie down, finally no more crawling into the berth. Good storage here as well.
A spacious cockpit with a full cover. All fittings from mast, engine to winches are of good quality and from well-known manufacturers. The large wheel gives you full control of the boat in all situations. This boat is equipped with a furling mast, which makes it easier for a smaller crew.
