The boat was built in 1977 and has corresponding signs of use. The sails are old but still usable. The boat has a roller furling jib, manufactured by Rotostay with continuous black aluminum profile. It is from England, so the forestay has inch threads instead of metric. The keel was tightened in 2021 and the drain valve was replaced. The hull and sides were worked on in 2020, including the rubbing strake, which is now a decorative teak strip.

We have sailed the boat very sportively, it's fun from wind force 5 onwards. The mainsail has a reef and if the boat gets too much, it will turn into the wind. The manufacturer BWC also offers a trapeze as an upgrade.

As mentioned before, the boat is old and the cameras make the photos a bit nicer, smoother, whiter. I had prepared the electronics, there is also a masthead light, a small moped battery is also available, but the plugs still need to be properly wired.

Until 2022, I used it for water hiking with my daughter, but now I need more comfort and have a larger boat, so Krümel is being sold.
