Hallberg-Rassy 44

Hallberg-Rassy 44 combines the best of what Hallberg-Rassy stands for, including contemporary improvements, for fast and comfortable sailing. When the Hallberg-Rassy 44 was launched in 2017, it became an immediate commercial success with orders from all over the world. The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is a superb boat that offers fantastic sailing and superb comfort!

The modern hull shape with twin rudders, along with a large centrally located wheel, makes the boat very easy to control, especially in challenging weather conditions. The sail plan is modern and does not require a backstay, even if you choose to sail with a heavy weather jib on an inner forestay. The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is also equipped with a bowsprit that can be used for a code sail or gennaker and is also perfect for attaching a bow ladder to facilitate boarding from low floating docks and natural harbors. The deck layout is clean and free from visible lines, with a below-deck mounted electric anchor windlass and flush-mounted skylights.

The large (2.29 m long) center cockpit on the Hallberg-Rassy 44 is equipped with a fixed windscreen and sprayhood and offers good protection, the spacious aft deck is perfect for sunbathing and socializing, and the motorized folding bathing platform is very useful for water sports activities.

Inside the boat, there is an aft cabin with a centrally located double bed with its own toilet/shower compartment, a forward cabin with V-berth, and a cabin with two bunk beds. There is also a forward toilet/shower compartment, a salon with a sofa, two armchairs, and a solid table with folding leaves. The navigation area is located to starboard of the entrance and the longitudinal galley is located to port. The carpentry work is made of European oak.

Hallberg-Rassy 44 BLISS II has been used for family sailing during the summer in Scandinavian waters. The overall condition is very good for its age. The boat is located in the water on Orust on the Swedish west coast, fully ready for the summer season!
