I am now selling my beautiful Sisu, model Bandholm 26, which is a Knud Olsen classic with teak and mahogany deck and hull.She is a Danish design, previously owned by only one family who also helped build her at a shipyard in Sweden in 1973, along with two other boats with a unique and different superstructure. The entire process is documented in pictures from '73.She is a fantastic sailor, stable and safe even in rough weather. Perfect for family sailing but also suitable for long-distance sailing. I had plans to sail her to Spain (which is still possible if I don't find the right buyer) as I am moving abroad and do not plan to return home for a few years.She wants to be someone's pride and joy and is looking for an owner who looks forward to varnishing and caring for her wooden details before each season. Take care of her reliable and well-maintained engine, which is removed from the boat every winter and stored indoors. She has been loved and treated accordingly throughout the years. It is important to me that she continues to be well taken care of and not neglected.She is a fiberglass boat with the feel and appearance of a wooden boat, but requires only a fraction of the maintenance that a wooden boat needs.
