Najad 400 is an excellent choice of boat for long voyages. Equipped with cockpit-operated roller main and roller genoa, the boat is easy to handle even for a smaller crew, with an additional inner forestay.
The boat is well-equipped as it was one of Najad's exhibition boats in 2003, including Valuepack Comfort, Design, and Navigation. All details can be found in the Equipment List below.
Electric anchor winch mounted forward under deck, as well as a bow thruster, make maneuvering the boat easy even in tighter harbor basins.
Large forward cabin with wardrobes, cabinets, and seating. Natural light enters through the deck hatch and saloon windows.
Spacious saloon with bookshelves and cabinets along the hull sides.
Chart table to starboard upon descent from the cockpit.
Toilet with shower behind the navigation area.
Large longitudinal galley to port upon descent from the cockpit.
The galley has ample storage, and parallel to the galley, there is a passage aft to an airy aft cabin with a large double berth, Queen size with an extra mattress topper, and very good storage space. A skylight in the ceiling provides lovely natural light. Windows aft and along the hull sides.
Protective center cockpit boat, sturdy guardrails keep the sea at a comfortable distance, equipped with a windscreen, and there is also a specially built table that allows for large groups to gather when it's time for a feast.
Extremely well-built with a deck in hand-laid sandwich laminate. Outer laminate in ISO polyester and surface layer of NGA gelcoat. Keel bolted with 12 16mm acid-resistant bolts. Built-in keel stub with longitudinal and transverse bottom frames. Longitudinal reinforcements with stringers.
