We are selling our beautiful complete Maxi 77 from 1976 with serial number 1255. It has been well-maintained with many improvements and accessories. The engine and sails are in excellent condition. The boat has an environmentally friendly bottom paint approved for all Swedish waters.
The boat is in top condition and ready to sail. It includes a Garmin GPS with depth sounder and is self-sufficient in terms of electricity, primarily through solar panels that power the cooler and lighting. Located in Värmdö.
The bottom and keel have been epoxy-treated and painted with environmentally friendly bottom paint. It has been tested and approved by the boating club for use in all Swedish waters. The mast stay fittings have been reinforced for better sailing and stability. Additional ballast has been installed for extra reinforcement. The aft beam for the keel attachment has been replaced and strengthened at the shipyard.
All halyards have been replaced. A roller genoa with a furling system has been installed for easy handling from the cockpit. A backstay adjuster has been installed for mast angle adjustments, especially during upwind sailing.
All wiring has been replaced with tinned copper cables. New electrical panels with corrosion-free fuses have been installed. Interior lighting and navigation lights have been replaced with LED bulbs that consume less power. Two 75Ah batteries are installed. There is a 12V USB outlet for charging mobile phones. A fixed 26W solar panel with a blocking diode and a foldable 50W solar panel are included. A voltage regulator is installed. The boat engine charges the batteries with 5A while running.
Relatively new roller genoa with a leech compensator and UV protection. Fairly new mainsail with battens. Original spinnaker in excellent condition, only used a few times. Anchor sail is also included. The sails have not been used for racing. All necessary ropes and winches are included. Boom cover is also available.
