Ohlson 8-8 for Sale

We are selling our Ohlson 8-8, which is a beautiful and upgraded family boat. The boat has been extended with an integrated bathing platform, which provides an additional 80cm of waterline for better sailing, but is also great for swimming and docking.

This boat is spacious for its size, with 6 full-length berths on board (2 in the forepeak, 2 in the dinette, 1 in the starboard salon, and 1 in the starboard aft quarter berth). There is a separate toilet with ample space. Most areas have a standing height of 185cm.

In terms of sailing, the boat has been upgraded and modernized with a self-tacking jib and an extended boom (Selden Single Line Reefing) for a larger mainsail. A new Plastimo 811S roller furling system was installed in 2022. All halyards are led to the cockpit.

The sail wardrobe consists of:

• Main sail Boding G2 Membrane from 2014 (2 reefs, single line reefing)
• Self-tacking jib Boding G2 Membrane (New UV protection 2022)

The sails have only been used for 5-6 seasons as the boat was on land from approximately 2016-2020.

• Wallas heater (not used by us, starts but requires maintenance)
• Standard equipment such as ropes, fenders, anchor, anchor line, etc.
