Owners comments Olivia was purchased in 2016 from a family of 4 in Hamburg, who had used her for cruising in the Baltic via the Kiel Canal. Prior to that we believe she was raced in Denmark. She was sailed to the UK by a delivery crew. She had been well maintained, but not at that time set up specifically for racing, although a number racing sails (from the previous Danish owner) were supplied. Our intention in purchasing the boat was to race at our local club (Royal Dart Yacht Club), particularly against another Aphrodite 101 (Avrio) at the club. Sadly the latter has now been sold away from Dartmouth. The reason for the current sale is changing circumstances of both joint owners after the Covid Pandemic. Olivia has been ashore since the start of the Covid pandemic.
