The Hurley 30/90 has developed a great reputation as a solidly built cruiser racer combining comfortable accommodation with sailing performance, making her an ideal family cruiser able of serious ocean passage. Suen was built in Devon in 1974. Her original 12hp engine was replaced by a new 16hp Beta inboard diesel engine, and professionally fitted in 2021. This came with a new propeller, new shaft and shaft seal, new fuel lines. Other new item include a Garmin chart plotter, a new cooker (Voyager 4500 2 burner, oven and grill cooker, new July 2021), and more recently a new Garmin wind indicator (2023). She is equipped with a 8 person Seago Life raft. She still need new upholstery and the speed and depth indicators are now dated, her new owner should consider updating them with also a new autopilot (also dated). During my ownership of Suen I have cruised her with family along the costs of Devon, and sailed her up the Irish sea, Ireland, the istle of Mann, the Clyde, the Scottish West Coast, the Scottish East coast, and up to Orkney, she is now lying in South Queensferry near Edinburgh ready for her next adventure.
