We are selling a Leisure 17 sailboat. The previous owner bought it new in England in the late 70s, and we have owned it for three years.
The boat is fun to sail, and since we have it in Lake Mälaren, we have also used it with just the motor. The hull looked okay when it was stored over the winter. I believe it was last painted two years ago. Otherwise, the boat is in good condition considering its age. Both sails are in good shape. The lighting electronics in the cabin are not working.
The engine is a Tohatsu 4-stroke that we bought practically unused three years ago.
If you want to keep the boat in Lake Mälaren, it is likely possible to take over our spot at Fiskarfjärdens boat club. We have had it on land at Sätra shipyard over the winter.
Unfortunately, the mast support gave up two years ago, so last winter we built a simple one with some spare wood. We can include the tarpaulin we used. If interested, you can also purchase our supports (price can be discussed).
