TRIO-80 Sailboat

Probably one of the finest and most updated TRIO-80 out there. Here is a boat that hopefully will give you many years of worry-free sailing ahead. It can truly be compared to both newer and more expensive boats.

The boat is very seaworthy and has sailed large parts of the archipelago down to Valdemarsvik, Gotland, and Gotska Sandön in the past year. A safe boat with generous spaces for its size that sails in most weather conditions and has been used for both family sailing and racing. If the buyer is completely new, I can show the basics a few times before you set sail yourselves. Planned haul-out is September 22nd, but it can be rescheduled to early October if you want to sail a bit before winter.

The boat is well-equipped and ready for long voyages with the following:

• Three-season new mainsail, jib, and genoa, all suitable for cruising. Sail bags for all sails.
• Three-season old sprayhood.
• Quicksilver rubber dinghy with oars.
• Very nice and intact paint.

Maximum speed under sail is about 5.6 knots and 5.5 with the engine. Cruises easily at 5 knots under sail and 4 knots under engine (uses barely a liter per hour).

New electrical installations:

• New starting and consumption batteries (AGM 100 + 60) in 2023.
• 100W solar panels installed in 2023 (mounted on pushpit and NOA stand).
• New switch panel in 2023.
• Smart Isolator Relay (Blue Sea) in 2023.
• Battery protection (Victron) in 2023.
• Bluetooth stereo in 2023.
• New speakers in the cabin in 2023.
• New speaker in the cockpit in 2023.
• USB outlets in the cockpit and cabin.
• 12-volt outlets in the cockpit and cabin.
• Voltage meters for both batteries in 2023.
• Pressure water pump in 2023 (just turn on the tap and fresh water comes out).
• Panel-mounted VHF is not connected with a new antenna, but will be included with the purchase.

Navigation:

• Bulkhead-mounted Raymarine Element S7 with depth sounder in 2023.
• New compass in 2023.
• Tiller freshly packed in 2022, completely free of play.
• Autopilot in 2023.

Interior:

• Forepeak insulated.
• New fresh cushions around the dining table in 2023.
• All porcelain, cutlery, etc. included.
• Toilet with its own door and sink.

Engine and other technical equipment:

• Yanmar YSM-8, overhauled fuel system and new exhaust elbow. The engine has received a lot of love over the years. It starts easily, runs like a new engine, and is very reliable.
• Straight propeller shaft without play.
• Bow ladder.

Mast and rigging:

• 12 meters in very good condition, new Windex installed in 2023.
• All halyards led to the cockpit.

Other accessories:

• Cradle, winter cover (Press and Son), and tarpaulin included.

Winter storage can be included, and I can assist with spring preparations on-site and show what needs to be done. The boat is currently located in Nynäshamn. There is likely also a summer berth available if there is interest.
