Maxi 909 from 1986

A well-loved and well-equipped Maxi 909 from 1986. Over the years, it has received a lot of love and upgrades. The original Volvo Penta 2001 engine with 9hp was replaced in 2015 with a Volvo Penta D1-30 engine with a 130S drive and a three-blade folding propeller. This upgrade provides ample power in all situations.

The boat comes with three sails (main sail, genoa, and self-tacking jib) that have been regularly serviced and are still in good condition according to the sailmaker. Sail handling is made easy with a roller in the bow and a lazy bag for the mainsail.

In winter 2019, the bottom was renovated with VC-TAR epoxy and VC-17, and the boat now has a VC-17 bottom paint. One advantage of this paint is that it does not build up thickness with each coat like many other paints do.

The cushions in the forepeak and salon have been reupholstered to give a fresher feeling on board. The aft cabin has been insulated and the original carpet replaced with SEASEA's white hull lining.
