28 feet but equivalent to 32 feet. I have purchased a vacation home and unfortunately no longer have time for the boat after about 10 years. The Nordship 28 is a center cockpit designed by Elvström & Kjærulf in the mid-80s and built by Buchwald Varv/Nordship Yachts. It is built to handle strong winds at sea, similar to Nauticat, Hallberg-Rassy, and Najad, with a fixed windshield for more comfortable and less chilly sailing. This particular boat has a newer, extra strong rig from Selldén with double spreaders, making it suitable for Atlantic and circumnavigation sailing, and it is a good and fast sailor. Despite its shape, it feels sporty and can lean significantly if desired.

The cockpit can accommodate up to 6 people, and one can also sit high and comfortably on the aft cabin roof and steer, allowing space for an additional person. It is easy to sail and spacious inside, with standing room in the cabin and under the boom (180 cm without lifting with a dirk). This updated version has a boom kicker that keeps the boom up at all times. It is easy to sail alone. All lines are led to the secure cockpit with high freeboard.

Well-equipped with gear and sturdy dimensions from Selden, Harken, and Lewmar. It has a larger stainless steel steering wheel and many equipment upgrades found on larger and newer 35-footers. It includes a Furlex furling genoa with new UV protection for the genoa (replaced in 2021), a mainsail with 3 reefs and 4 battens, partially through the mast. The lazy-jack cover was renovated in 2021. It also has a Raymarine autopilot (needs new spare parts), Nexus wind instrument (may need replacement due to looseness), depth sounder, and Garmin GPS plotter, etc.

It has 6 berths, including 2 in a separate aft cabin. Separate toilet room with toilet (very large stainless steel tank). Thick and comfortable cushions.

Length: 8.65m, Width: 2.95m, Depth: 1.5m, Weight: 3.5 tons, Mast: 12.5m. SRS/Lys 1.07 for the model with a simpler original mast. Much stronger equipment/quality than Maxi 95. Keywords: Comfort 32, Hallberg Rassy 312, or 29 Scandinavia.

The boat is centrally located in the city on Norra Djurgården.

Equipment:

• Sails: Furling genoa and lazy-jack mainsail with 3 reefs and storm jib. Also prepared for a genaker (not included).
• Engine: Volvo Penta 2003B-HE-BT 1998 HP 23, with a large stainless steel tank of approximately 65 liters. The engine was completely overhauled around 2005 and has been regularly serviced. It has a 3-blade folding propeller.
• Sprayhood and cockpit cover in excellent condition (dividable cover over the entire cockpit like a house over the center cockpit or just over the front half like a larger sprayhood). Almost new stainless steel stove and oven, powerful refrigerator with freezer compartment, anchor winch (2021), electric gas shut-off, Wallas diesel heater (installed but not yet connected), 2x solar panels with regulator, 2 AGM batteries, bow anchor with built-in ladder. Large replaced stainless steel water tank. VHF with mast-top antenna.
• Some minor fixes are needed, such as regelcoating a plastic repair around the cabin hatch.
