Boat for Sale

Due to not being able to go down for several years in a row, we are now selling our 10% share in MYC5, a Comfort 32 located in Nidri on the island of Lefkas in Greece. The boat is in very good condition, although well-used. It is well-equipped and mechanically reliable. The engine was replaced before the 2023 season.

Share E has the weeks according to the rolling schedule in the image. Next year, weeks 32-33 are available (very good weeks!!), and there is usually the possibility to exchange (or get extra weeks if you are flexible). Normally, there are 2 weeks per year, but sometimes 4 weeks (depending on when they fall). All shares are owned by Swedes, and a joint boat meeting is held every year. The boat team has a "boatmaster" responsible for maintenance and spring preparation, and major investments are made after discussion with the other shares. The annual fee was 8000 SEK for 2023, and the fee may be slightly reduced next year as we needed to spend a lot of money to buy and install the engine.

In addition to the new engine, the boat has, among other things, an electric windlass in the bow, good sails with a roller furling jib and a stackpack/lazybag for the mainsail. There is a good sun awning, solar panels to charge the batteries, and the boat also has a nice bathing platform. The kitchen has a gas stove and refrigerator/freezer. The toilet is of the Jabsco type and has a holding tank. There are 6 berths: 2 in the forepeak, 2 in the saloon, and 2 in the separate aft cabin.

In Greece, it is wonderful to sail, with fantastic waters for swimming and snorkeling. There are hardly any shallow areas to worry about. Most harbors are free to dock at provided you visit the associated restaurant. We have never paid a single harbor fee during our trips.

In short, owning a share is a fantastic way to experience incredible sailing at a relatively low cost and with very little hassle that is otherwise associated with boating life.
