The cockpit is large and seats more people than many 45 foot cruisers, Yet a racing crew of five people is no bigger than the crew of a j24. Because of its versatility and appeal as a recreational investment, the J105 class has grown to become a successful one-design class, with buildnumbers over 500 boats in more than 17 countries.
The patented SCRIMP molding process makes the J105 hulls more than twice as strong and stiff as a conventiononal hull, butt also significantly reduces the overall weight of the boat. With offshore safety features, stiff and strong hulls, and good stability, owners have successfully ocean-raced their boats from Madeira to Martinique.
This specific J105 is one of the last hulls to be build and was delivered to it's original owner in 2007!
