Sweden Yacht 42

Sweden yacht 42 build no 31 year 2005 is now for sale.

2 owners â?? last from 2019 and little used since. In 2017-18 just stored.

This Sweden Yacht 42 is probably the most original and well maintained 42 amongst those around 45 numbers being build. A boat is only original once.

Apart from first few years has it always been stored inside in wintertime. Since 2015 in warm hall around 14 degr.C

Gelcoat surfaces are like new. Teakdeck in very good condition lasting yet many years â?? refinished completely in 2018

Interior is as close to new as probably possible with varnish in very good condition, floors like new as they have been protected by carpet since new. No holes etc drilled anywhere.

All in all the closest possible to a new SWY-42 having in mind it is not possible to build in this quality anymore. In mint condition down to smallest detail.

 

Boat has been maintained by yard with a yearly preventive maintenance schedule together with carefull enhancements.

As an example was all hoses for engine and the exhaust neck changed winter 2022. Not because the was problems but because we wanted to avoid problems by any means.

Selfsteering parts dismantled and inspected in full in 2021.

Fuelcell type EFOY 2400 Pro (110w) installed ensuring powersupply when anchoring, avoiding the un-estethics of solarpanels. Expensive but efficient solution.

3-drawer locker in owners cabin found as original in stock from yard and installed 2020

Protection rail in teak + stainless steel fitted at freeboard 2020

Rodrig and running rig inspected by rigging company 2019, most running rig changed by then.

Hull was in same way grinded down and epoxy painted in 2018.

Rodrig renewed in 2016.

Whenever any small part or item has malfunctioned or needed replacement has this been done instantly only with original parts etc..etcâ?¦

Boat is stored in heated shed in wintertime. Around 14-15 degr keeping it dry.
Watertanks are emptied and cleaned before storing for winter, as well as holding tanks
Engine receives full service by the yard.
Yard takes care of rigging off mast and rigging again in springtime and inspecting all boat.
Teak deck has been treated with Boracol at least twice each year since new.
Mirrors in heads was changed probably in 2015
