It's time to change boats, and therefore we are now selling our lovely Marieholm 28 from 1978. Typical for this sailboat are its (thanks to the long fin keel and 3.8 tons weight), safe sailing characteristics. For those who haven't sailed much, it will be a pleasant start!
Another standout feature of sailboats of this size from the 1970s is that the boat has an aft cabin with a separate entrance. Here, two people can sleep, and the entire boat can accommodate six people. Storage spaces are generous so everyone can stow away their belongings. In addition to the mainsail, she has a roller genoa as a foresail, so you don't have to go forward and change sails. Here you will find everything you need to be out for a long time: a well-sized fresh water tank of 100 liters, a toilet with sink and fresh water, a gas stove with two burners and oven, a dish rack with faucets for drinking water and seawater, lighting. A solar panel that charges the batteries is installed on the boat, it is sufficient to maintain the voltage even on an electric refrigerator.
The boat is considered to be in working condition, there are some minor fixes that can be done before the next season, such as sewing a window in the canopy and fixing the locking mechanism on the bathing ladder.
The boat is in the water so you can test drive it, and after it is lifted out on October 30th, it is possible to inspect it below the waterline before making a decision. During the winter, it will be stored at our boat storage site in Luleå, which is paid for until next summer, so there is no rush to move the boat. There is an opportunity to participate in the joint launching of the boat, which will take place on June 1st or 8th next year at a moderate cost, and if you want to take over our harbor spot, which costs only 3,500 SEK per year, it can be arranged. We also offer a half-day sailing school next summer if desired.
