Najad 380

The Najad 380 was designed by Judel & Vrolijk with the clear vision of creating the ideal shape for sailing and the volume required for cruising. It is narrower in the bow than most 40-foot cruisers and has relatively round midsections to maximize volume. The aft design provides a bit more rocker, which gives a comfortable motion in waves and makes the boat easier to turn.

This fantastic center cockpit boat, protected by an efficient combination of windshield/sprayhood, provides safety, great comfort, and seamanship for island hopping and/or offshore sailing around the world (chosen by Jeanne Socrates for her circumnavigation in 2020). Sailing is easy to handle with a Selden furling mast, a Furlex genoa on the foremast, and Andersen winches.

The Najad heritage is well displayed with solid teak/stainless steel combo on deck/cockpit and inside, with beautifully hand-polished and satin-finished mahogany. The wood fibers are highlighted, the joints are precise, and the curves are appealing.

This hull no. 54 comes with 2 double cabins, a master cabin aft, a spacious salon with two comfortable sofas, next to the large galley leading aft with standing headroom passage.

The second owner is now selling a Najad 380 in fantastic condition. The boat has been meticulously maintained while in Sweden, stored in a heated hall, and regularly updated during navigation in the Mediterranean for 4 months at sea and 8 months on land since 2018. (see very detailed equipment list). The boat is ready to continue its journey with you from Preko/Croatia, available for viewing.
