DescriptionWesterly Tempest 31 from 1987 - their first year of production. Yard number SF 2 - almost certainly commissioned in 1988. This example is the original version with two double cabins aft and amazingly spacious heads compartment forward. Forward of the heads is a "sail room" for sails and fenders etc.


ConstructionWell constructed and built in 1987 by Westerly Yachts Ltd. White GRP hull and decks with grey painted non-slip surfaces and grey coveline. Cast iron fin keel with spade rudder. Tiller steering. Self-draining cockpit. Teak rubbing strake. Transom bathing platform with boarding ladder.Hull was re-sprayed in 2009.
