I am selling my sailboat, a Rethana 24 built in 1984. Overall length is 7.55m. It has a dinette and a built-in Yanmar engine. Standing height!
I have enjoyed using the boat for many years. Unfortunately, due to age and health reasons, I am unable to address the accumulated repairs. Hence, the relatively low price.
The original color of the boat was cream. However, the previous owner painted it white and likely used the wrong paint. As seen in the pictures, the paint has chipped off in many areas. With some craftsmanship and the right paint, this can be successfully fixed. The wooden parts need to be refurbished as well.
There are also several minor repairs required, but they do not hinder the boat's functionality. Those who enjoy tinkering and are willing to put in some work will end up with a reliable boat and can spend many hours on the water.
Inside, the boat is well-maintained and features a small kitchen and a separate toilet room with a Campa Potti. Additionally, there is a spacious closet, and the sleeping cabin has a door.
The engine has been overhauled during the winter and is in working condition. I have regularly applied an underwater coating with VC17.
A beautiful blue sprayhood and a matching cockpit tent are included, providing standing height so that you can comfortably sit outside even on cold or windy days. There is also a bathing ladder for easy access to the water.
A road trailer is also available.
