Known Defects/Issues with the Boat:

• In rare cases, the starter's electrical system malfunctions (occurs 1-2 times a year at irregular intervals). There must be a loose connection somewhere. When the issue occurs, if you wiggle the cables of the starter, the power immediately returns and the engine can be started. Since we are not familiar with electrical systems and the issue occurs so rarely or can be immediately fixed by wiggling the cable, we have not taken any action to fix it. It should be a minor issue for someone knowledgeable about electrical systems.
• In addition, the plexiglass window of the small deck hatch at the front is cracked and needs to be replaced.

All in all, we are selling a well-maintained Maxi 77 in good condition considering its age. It is ready to sail and has been winterized every year (antifouling, filters, etc.). The cushions and sails have been stored indoors during the winter. We always used a crane to lift the boat in and out of the water, so the trailer has not been exposed to saltwater.

The boat is currently in the water and can be test sailed by appointment. The trailer can also be viewed.

The berth can be taken over upon request (already discussed with the harbor master).

Please note that the boat and the engine are over 40 years old and there is always something to tinker with to keep everything in good condition. Do not expect a new boat, it definitely has signs of use and will require ongoing maintenance.
