This 1985 FREEDOM 21 SHOAL is a versatile sailboat, perfect for beginners and veteran sailors.
Want a vessel you can solo sail? This Freedom only draws 2 '6", so your docking options are endless. This boat is designed with the unique "Hoyt gun mount" which allows the spinnaker to be raised, controlled, and doused by one person from the cockpit!
All lines are led aft to the cockpit, making it easy to navigate solo! It has an unstayed light carbon fiber mast. The mast is freestanding and is not supported by the normal set of standing rigging. This means there is no backstay, no shrouds to be in the way. It allows for an extra large, full-battened mainsail for good performance under a range of wind conditions.
The cabin has a galley sink and V-berth, port, and starboard berths. There is plenty of storage in various cabinets and compartments.
Includes a Standard Horizon Explorer VHF radio. Also included in the optional mast tabernacle for stepping the mast without the need of a boatyard lift!
