The Colvic 34 provides a solid, spacious sailing platform. The 34 was the largest of the colvic designs, with a hull said to be based on a lifeboat design. The ketch rig is designed to provide more balance to the rig and of course makes sail handling easier, especially if sailing shorthanded. The side decks and foredeck are spacious and make working the boat comfortable and down below, there is spacious accommodation for 6 crewmembers. The aft cabin has en-suite facilities and further forward, amidships, the galley complete with hot, running water, microwave and oven. The saloon has comfortable standing head room and acres of space to both relax when not sailing and also to store items and equipment. Further forward can be found the large, forward cabin with a single and double berth. Colvic Watson's are known to be provided with plenty of engine power, this one having a 137 HP Ford Mermaid Mariner, fully serviced in 2022. The owner, a qualified marine engineer, reports an economical engine, that has only been run for 1,250 hours; it looks beautiful and we encourage you to review our video of the engine running.

When I visited the boat I was impressed by a vessel that looks to have been well maintained and cared for. This boat would be ideal for long distance cruising and even living aboard.
